Hello!

What does it mean to go "at the pace of a bike?"

For us, it means traveling slowly, taking back roads from town to town, and having the opportunity to truly see and understand the country we are exploring. This pace allows us to meet people along the way, hear their stories, and gain insight into their lives.

This site is dedicated to all the individuals we encounter on our journeys, as well as those who strive to make a positive impact in their local, national, and global communities.

Through this blog, we aim to share our experiences: the rides, the places, and the people.

We invite you to come along for the ride!

We are Andrew and Molly Goldstein, from Portland, Oregon, USA.  After 38 years in education in Oregon, Guatemala, and Hong Kong (Andrew as a Social Studies teacher, administrator and innovator in education and Molly as a Science teacher,) we retired, bought a couple of Niner touring bikes, and began our second career as avid global tour cyclists!

Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
