Heading North, Down the St. Lawrence
Passing through a small town along the southern bank of the St. Lawrence River. We have pedaled about 100 miles in the last two days, heading in a northeastern direction (which feels like "up" on a map but is actually downstream along the St. Lawrence!). Emile: Bike mechanic extraordinaire!

Montreal: An international city
We arrived in Montreal, Canada on Sunday, May 11, with bikes and gear in tow. We gave ourselves the full day on Monday to take care of some important last minute things, such as having our bikes checked and adjusted if needed, and sending our bike bags and luggage on to Halifax, Nova Scotia, our destination.
